Concrete chunks spill onto Hillsborough Ave., delaying drivers

HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, Fla. (WFLA) — Pieces of concrete fell onto a busy Hillsborough County road on Monday morning, causing delays for drivers.

Slabs of concrete fell off a truck and onto the road, when a car and semi crashed around 8:04 a.m. on Hillsborough Avenue and Orient Road.

Eastbound Hillsborough Avenue was closed as of 8:30 a.m., however some people were driving on the grass to bypass the mess.
