Hillsborough sheriff seeks help finding missing elderly man with dementia

RUSKIN, Fla. (WFLA) – The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office is asking for help finding a missing elderly man who suffers from dementia.

Deputies say, Cecil Rudolph Alcorn, 91, was last spoken to via his home phone on Halloween.

At 11:30 a.m. on Nov. 2, family members checked on Alcorn at his home and discovered that he was gone. Also missing was his 2000 silver Toyota Avalon with Florida tag DXW-Z96.

Investigators say Mr. Alcorn suffers from dementia, which affects his short term memory and causes some confusion.

His description is as follows: 5’7″ 135 lbs, gray hair, hazel eyes

Anyone who may have seen or knows the whereabouts of Cecil R. Alcorn is asked to contact HCSO at (813) 247-8200 or call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-873-TIPS.
