Young cancer survivor fundraiser sparks support, inspiration

Tampa, FL (WFLA) – A 23-year-old woman fought cancer, and Sunday she’s taking off her gloves and putting on her gala gown. After she was diagnosed with lymphoma, Madison Miller was inspired to start “Spark the Way.” Now with the help of Moffitt Cancer Center, she’s creating a community of support and inspiration.

“Throughout my cancer season I was able to fight it fearlessly and shine some light. That’s what I want other young adults to do. Spark the Way exists to equip young adults to be fearless and to be light bearing in their cancer fight,” Madison Miller said.

You can help ignite the light and raise money for young adults affected by cancer at tonight’s black-tie event. It starts at 6 p.m. In Tampa. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
