The World Health Organization says eating processed meat such as sausages and ham causes cancer, while unprocessed red meat may also be carcinogenic. Eating 50 grams of processed meat each day — the equivalent of two slices of ham — can increase the risk of such cancer by 18%.
Processed meat is now classified in the same category as smoking and asbestos, based on its certainty of a link with cancer.

This year, millions of people will dress up their dogs in halloween costumes. But rarely does anyone stop and think to ask, “how does the dog feel about this?” Is dressing our loyal and loving companions up on Halloween exploitative, or is it just another way of showing our affection towards them? Thoughts?
