OAKLAND PARK, Fla. (AP) – Authorities have arrested a South Florida woman they say repeatedly stabbed her 64-year-old neighbor to death.
Broward Sheriff’s deputies say Debra Kincy, 63, first reported finding the victim’s body on the kitchen floor this week. Authorities said they found threatening text messages between the two that revealed Kincy had been verbally and physically harassing Charlotte Nicholas for some time.
Deputies said Kincy went on TV earlier this week and revealed details of the murder that investigators had not made public. Authorities said Saturday that Kincy faces charges of murder with depraved indifference and false ownership.
She is also charged with dealing in stolen property after authorities say she stole jewelry from the victim and pawned three rings. Kincy allegedly went to the pawn shop still wearing clothes with the victim’s blood on them.
She is being held without bond.
