Hogan’s Beach to be renamed Beach Bar | Restaurant

The Hogan's Beach signs are down and Hulk Hogan memorabilia has been removed, but the establishment is still open.

TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) – The bar and restaurant once named after popular wrestling star Hulk Hogan is set to become a new contemporary and casual concept restaurant.

The popular waterfront watering hole opened in 2012 and hosted countless concerts, drawing thousands of people, but a week ago all of the Hulk Hogan memorabilia inside the restaurant was suddenly removed and rumors spread about the future of establishment

Now comes word the Oxford Capital Group has purchased the restaurant and hotel with plans to transform both into a more upscale experience, a news release stated.

The new owners said the new restaurant will feature a modern and airy nautical décor along with a heated outdoor pool that will soon allow people to order directly from a swim-up bar. A new menu will focus on fresh seafood along with pizza, burgers and surf & turf.

On the entertainment front, we’re told to expect beach volleyball tournaments throughout the winter, live Jet Ski shows and all-you-can-eat snow crab Fridays.
