TAMPA, FL (WFLA) – When a student at a Tampa bus stop threw a pencil at a man’s car, he got so angry he threatened the students at the stop with a BB gun, according to Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office.
It happened at about 8:30 a.m. near Six Mile Creek Road and Clewis Avenue. Bobby Buice, 48, was going east on Six Mile Creek Road by the school bus stop when a student threw a pencil at his car, according to HCSO.
Buice armed himself with a BB gun, drove back to the bus stop and pointed the weapon at two students, threatening to shoot them, deputies said. He left the scene but came back when the Hillsborough County School Bus arrived. He waited for the students to get on the bus, according to the HCSO press release.
HCSO patrol and school resource deputy came to the bus stop and interviewed the bus driver and the students. Deputies later pulled Buice’s car over and found the BB gun and cocaine. Buice gave a confession, according to HCSO.
Buice was arrested for two counts of aggravated assault, possession of cocaine and paraphernalia. He was transported at the Hillsborough County jail.
