Marco’s offering free pizza on Columbus Day

TAMPA, FL (WFLA) — Marco’s is offering free slices of pizza to all Americans for lunch on Columbus Day, October 12th, as a way to honor its Italian heritage. October is also National Pizza Month.

To take advantage of this offer go to marcos.com, and present the picture of Christopher Columbus displayed on Marco’s main page. The picture can be shown using a smart phone or a print out, and the offer is good at all participating Marco’s Pizza stores from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m.

Columbus Day, along with celebrating the discovery of the New World by Christopher Columbus, recognizes the many achievements of Italian-American heritage. Marco’s Pizza was founded by native Italian, Pasquale “Pat” Giammarco in 1978.
