Inmate escapes from Transition House in Tarpon Springs

TARPON SPRINGS, Fla. (WFLA) – On Monday around 2:55 p.m. an inmate escaped from the Transition House, 566 Brady Road in Tarpon Springs. The Florida Department of Corrections is asking for help locating the escapee, Raul Diaz.

Diaz, 27, has black hair and brown eyes. He’s 5’5” and weighs 144 pounds. Diaz has multiple tattoos, including two tear drops on his face.

He was sentenced in August 2014 to two years, two months and 17 days for grand theft and other charges.
