Spice bust in Pinellas Park: 2 arrested, a pound of drugs found

PINELLAS PARK, FL (WFLA) – Officers confiscated more than a pound of Spice from a gas station and convenience store in Pinellas Park Friday after a 2-month long undercover investigation.

Pinellas Park Police detectives were investigating the sales of the synthetic cannabiod or Spice from the store Citgo gas station and convenience store located at at 8787 66th Street North. After the undercover investigation they served a search warrant there. They found and confiscated more than a pound of the drug in individual packages for sale.

PPPD officers arrested Ahmad Suid who owned the store and his brother Mohammad Suid on various drug possession and sales charges. They are in the Pinellas COunty jail.

Detectives will continue to investigate the case.
