Pasco sheriff’s deputies track down drug suspect after Facebook post

A profane-laden tirade on Facebook helped Pasco sheriff's deputies track down a wanted suspect.

Timothy Burleigh of Port Richey

PASCO COUNTY, FL (WFLA) – Pasco County sheriff’s deputies appear to have gotten the last word after a drug suspect they were looking for posted a profane-laden tirade on Facebook.

When Timothy Burleigh, 34, learned Pasco sheriff’s deputies were searching for him, he logged onto Facebook to post a profane-laden tirade against them, according to the Pasco County Sheriff’s Office Facebook page.

It would appear the deputies wanted to get some clarification on Burleigh’s comments, so they tracked him down in the shed where he was living at 10707 Raffia Drive in Port Richey.

Deputies arrested Burleigh on charges of methamphetamine possession and took him to the Land O’ Lakes Detention Center, where he will not have access to Facebook.
