Deputies: Pasco substitute teacher accused of molestation, fired

PASCO COUNTY, FL (WFLA) – A substitute teacher from Pasco County has been arrested on multiple counts of lewd and lascivious charges, according to the Pasco County Sheriff’s Office.

Roy Danny Wingo, 68, of New Port Richey, was arrested Friday for lewd and lascivious molestation and lewd and lascivious battery. According to CPSO, he is accused of molesting two victims more than 50 times. The last incident happened in 2012, detectives said. The victims were between the ages of 11 and 15 and 8 and 9 when the alleged molestation happened.

Pasco school board fired Wingo. He was booked into the Land O’ Lakes Detention Center with no bond.
