BRADENTON, Fla. (WFLA) – Desoween VII: Camp Desoween! Come if you dare, on October 24th from 6:30 to 9:00pm, for Camp Desoween! Experience a unique haunted trail event for ages 7 and up. This event and all activities are free to the public. Visitors are encouraged to dress up, so try those costumes out before Halloween. Beware! The later the evening gets, the spookier the trail becomes. Desoween will feature:

A Summer Camp gone horribly wrong— Something is not right at Camp Desoween. The kids have been wandering off at night and come back in a daze, if they came back at all. The counselors are beside themselves. They cannot find the campers and those that are around keep singing a maddening song. Mysterious figures show up in the woods calling to the children. It is up to you to go into the woods and find out what is happening at Camp Desoween!

Family Friendly — all activities at DeSoween are designed with a family atmosphere in mind. None of our scenes will depict gory or graphic events, but the supernatural nature and costumed actors can create a scary and intense experience. Our events are suitable for children and adults, but parents please use your best judgment when bringing younger children. It is recommended to bring young children early while it is still light out. The darker it gets, the spookier the trail. Due to lights, sounds, and surprise situations, we ask that you leave your pets at home.
