St. Pete Police searching for robbery, shooting suspect

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. (WFLA) – St. Petersburg Police are looking for a robber who shot a convenience store clerk Saturday night. Around 10:30 p.m. the armed robber entered Easy Stop 2, located at 5315 16th St. North.

The robber pointed a gun at the clerk and demanded money, police said. The clerk handed the robber cash, but the gunman then fired a shot before running out of the store.

The clerk suffered a non-life-threatening wound to the arm.

Surveillance video shows the suspect in a parking lot near Easy Stop 2, walking toward the store and pointing the gun at the clerk.
