BROOKSVILLE, Fla. (WFLA) – Fans of Florida-native and motocross legend Ricky Carmichael will be happy to know they can meet the 15-time champ and possibly ride with him this Saturday.

The Florida Forest Service announced that 2013 AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame Inductee Ricky Carmichael, who was born in Clearwater, will appear at Withlacoochee State Forest’s Croom Motorcycle Area in Brooksville on Saturday, Oct. 3 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Carmichael, who is nicknamed the GOAT (Greatest Of All Time) is known as the “Winningest Rider of All Time.” He is a fifteen-time AMA MX/SX Champion and a 3-time X-Games Gold Medalist.

Saturday’s event will include autograph signing and an opportunity to ride with Carmichael.

Carmichael started riding when he was five years old. When he was about six or seven years old, he started riding at Croom Motorcycle Area, which is located in the Withlacoochee State Forest SR50/I-75 in Brooksville.
