Florida registration software glitch fixed

CLEARWATER, FL (WFLA) – The software glitch which halted processing of the vehicle registrations, titles, and parking permits in the entire state of Florida has been fixed, officials said. They confirmed that the issued was resolved at about 11:40 a.m.

Earlier Thursday due to a technical issue with the Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles’ registration software, tax collectors across the state were unable to process vehicle registrations, titles, or parking permits.

The issue was fixed in a few hours.
