Armed suspects rob Spring Hill McDonald’s, assault manager, deputies say

SPRING HILL, FL (WFLA) – Two armed suspects broke into a McDonald’s on Commercial Way in Spring Hill, robbing the store and battering the manager, according to the Hernando County Sheriff’s Office.

It happened at about 4 a.m. Thursday at the restaurant located at 2350 Commercial Way. The two armed suspects, described as larger build black males, covering their faces, got inside the restaurant. They battered the manager on duty, robbed the place, and left on foot, according to HCSO.

One suspect has gold lower front teeth, deputies said. It is unclear if they got into a car later.

The manager was taken to a hospital to be treated for his injuries.
