Bradenton apartment fire displaces 9

BRADENTON, Fla. (WFLA) – A fire displaced residents of a Bradenton apartment building on Thursday afternoon.

Bradenton firefighters responded to a report of a structure fire at building 1386 of the Carlton Arms apartments at about 4:40 p.m. The Carlton Arms Apartments are located on Carlton Arms Drive.

Smoke was visible while en route, and a second alarm was called. Firefighters brought the situation under control with no injuries.

Nine adult residents in the eight-unit building are being assisted by the Red Cross.

The cause of the fire is under investigation and further information will be released when available.
