CLEARWATER, Fla. (WFLA) – Two Clearwater detectives will travel to Tallahassee on Monday to be with the family of Zachary Bernhardt as part of the 2015 FDLE Florida Missing Children’s Day Ceremony.
Bernhardt is still missing. He was 8-years-old when he disappeared from his apartment at 2690 Drew St. on September 11, 2000. Investigators say he was last known to be sleeping in his bed at about 4 a.m. on the day that he was reported missing.
Fifteen years after the disappearance of an 8-year-old Clearwater boy, the Clearwater Police Department is asking for information in the case.
Police released an age progression photo that shows what Zachary Bernhardt might look like today along with a photo of what he looked like when he disappeared.
