Deadly shooting outside Tampa recording studio

TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) – Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office deputies are investigating the deadly shooting of a man outside a Tampa recording studio.

Investigators say just after 11 p.m. on Sept. 6, Ivan Parker II, 25, was shot while standing outside a makeshift recording studio located at 6209 N. 50 St.

Friends inside heard gun shots and when they exited the building, they saw Parker laying on the ground. They put the Parker in their car and transported him to the VA hospital were he later died.

Homicide detectives are gathering evidence and conducting interviews. They have not established a possible motive, but the shooting does not appear to be random, according to the HCSO.
