Manatee sheriff hiring school crossing guards

MANATEE COUNTY, Fla. (WFLA) – The Manatee County Sheriff’s Office is hiring school crossing guards.

The sheriff’s office says that several crossing guards have left since school started, creating a shortage.

Manatee County crossing guards work five days a week. Shifts are two and a half hours each day.  The pay is $12.43 an hour.
