Oldest U.S. triplets celebrate birthday in Capital Region

ALBANY, NY – From the Great Depression to Pearl Harbor and through the thick of World War II, the Kirchner triplets have seen it all. Catherine, Frances and Marguerite are the oldest triplets in America. On Sunday, they turned 95. They were born on August 23, 1920 in Brooklyn.

From birth to their college graduation, the women have been inseparable. They even took the same exact classes at William Smith College.

What is the hardest part of being a triplet? The women said its people not knowing who they’re talking to.
