TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – A jury has found Florida State running back Dalvin Cook not guilty of punching a woman outside a bar.
The Tallahassee Democrat reported in July that Cook, 19, had been under investigation for the battery of a woman. The alleged incident occurred outside a Tallahassee bar on June 23. He was charged with simple battery.

Florida State immediately reinstated Cook on Monday night after the jury verdict. He can start practicing with the team and will be able to play in the season opener Sept. 5 against Texas State.
