Police trying to identify victim of Temple Terrace lover’s quarrel

TEMPLE TERRACE, Fla. (WFLA) – A lover’s quarrel along Busch Boulevard in Temple Terrace Thursday afternoon ended in a grisly, gruesome crime scene. Two bloody bodies were found on top of one another in a bowling alley parking lot. An eyewitness saw the whole thing and was shaken to the core.

It is indeed a murder mystery right now for detectives. It all started with a couple fighting in a parking lot. They were screaming as they ran across the street, sources told News Channel 8. Then, minutes later, the two were in a heap on the concrete.

At first, the two people were thought to be dead in a murder-suicide, according to police. However, paramedics were able to revive the man. After the suspect allegedly shot the woman in the face and chest, he failed to end his own life, police said. The man’s identity has not been released. He was last listed in serious condition at Tampa General.

Now, the questions begin. First, who is the victim? So far, she’s a Jane Doe. Police don’t know who she is or where she is from. Police are now questioning the suspect, who they believe is her boyfriend.

One eyewitness was an arm’s length away. “He pushed her. He turned around and shot her once in the face,” said the witness, who asked to remain anonymous. “She was trying to run. He re-shot her and then turned around and shot himself and crawled on top of her.”

Investigators are trying to figure out what led to this fatal fight.
