Sarasota deputies locate missing 89-year-old woman with Alzheimer’s

SARASOTA, FL (WFLA) – The Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office has located 89-year-old Lucretia C. Hoepner and her husband James.  The couple went missing on Tuesday from the  Beneva Lake Healthcare facility.  They were found safe at a hotel in Bradenton.

Earlier Tuesday, employees had called authorities beacuse Lucretia C. Hoepfner (Moore) had advanced dementia and Alzheimer’s and was missing. Her husband, James Hoepfner,  also suffered from dementia which caused the Silver Alert.

The Hoepfners were traveling in a 1990 white Ford Taurus station wagon. Authorities thank the public for sharing the information.
