Body of missing Pasco teen found in Anclote River

PASCO COUNTY, Fla. (WFLA) – The Pasco County Sheriff’s Office on Friday identified a body found in the Anclote River as that of a teen who was reported missing by his mother.

A cause of death for Chase Konger-Weddle, age 17, is pending the medical examiner’s findings. A sheriff’s office spokesperson said that there is no reason to believe the teen’s death was flood related.

Konger-Weddle was last seen at his 7455 Riverbank Drive home on August 11 about 5 a.m. and was reported missing by his mother that evening, according to the sheriff’s office.
