People who are suffering with chronic health conditions now have a new resource. USF Nursing recently opened a free clinic in South Tampa.

Since officially opening on May 30, the clinic is seeing patients that have peripheral neuropathy, cancer, and very soon will begin offering services for patients with heart disease.

Born out of a need for more information from individual’s health teams on a day to day basis, Care Tampa Bay has a number of individuals who volunteer their time. The College of Nursing pays for use of the space. And Dr. Sylvia Campbell, who is a physician in private practice in South Tampa, generously lets the volunteers come in and use her space on Saturdays, the whole clinic.
