JUPITER, FL (WFLA) – The families of two teenagers who disappeared on a fishing trip near Jupiter, announced Saturday that they are ending the private search for the boys, WPTV reports.

Perry Cohen and Austin Stephanos, both age 14, went missing during a fishing trip July 24.

The Coast Guard suspended its search for the boys on Friday, July 31. The Coast Guard found the teens’ overturned boat a few days after the boys went missing. The boat, which was left at sea, has since disappeared.  A spokesman for the families said that the search has run its course and they had no new information, according to WPTV.
