CITRUS COUNTY, FL (WFLA) – Crews will attempt to remove a truck stuck in a hole in a Beverly Hills neighborhood Friday.

The hole opened up while crews were drilling a well. It happened near a home in Pine Ridge off West Breckenridge Court. No one was hurt but a truck that was parked nearby ended up in the hole.

“I was at work. I got the call from Citrus Well Drilling that he had a small problem with a truck in a sink hole, wasn’t quite expecting what I came home to,” homeowner Keith Mannion said.

Crews were working on a well to get Mannion a reliable water source.

He’s concerned because narrow roads leading to his property may prevent a large crane from getting in to remove the truck Friday.

“Still in shock, really. Playing it by ear. Hopefully they can get the truck out,” Mannion said.
