JACKSONVILLE, FL (AP) – Jacksonville police are searching for a 19-month-old boy who they say was taken during a car theft at an apartment complex. Amber Alert was issued for the child early Friday morning, according to WESH.

The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office says Lonzie Barton was in a car belonging to his mother’s boyfriend around 2:20 a.m. Friday. The vehicle was recovered several blocks away but the child was not inside.
