BRANDON, Fla. (WFLA) — Hillsborough County deputies are searching for a man suspected of robbing a gas station in Brandon at gunpoint last week. Joseph Costanzo and Michael Pinkelton are accused of bursting through the doors of a Circle K at 12:58 a.m. last Wednesday and demanding cash. The Circle K is located at 202 W. Brandon Boulevard.
Surveillance video from inside the store shows a masked gunman pointing his weapon at the clerk and demanding the cash drawer. As he’s shoving the cash into a duffel bag, the gun goes off striking a cigarette display case. The other man shown in the video acts as a lookout.
Deputies took Pinkleton into custody on Saturday, but deputies have issued an active warrant for Costanzo. He may be driving a black 2007 Dodge Caliber 4-door, with dark tinted windows and the Florida license plate DXDJ02. Constanzo is wanted on charges of robbery and assault with a firearm. He is believed to be armed with a .380 caliber and possibly a .45 caliber semi-automatic handgun.
