Zayden Collins

PASCO COUNTY, FL (WFLA) – A boy had his foot cut off by a lawn-mower Saturday morning, Pasco County Sheriff’s deputies said.

It happened on Orange Drive in Spring Hill. According to PCSO, Tiffany May Collins, 33, was riding a commercial zero-turn mower. When she saw her 2-year-old son Zayden Lane Collins running towards the mower, she turned it off but the blades were still turning. The boy fell, his right leg got under the mower and was severed below the ankle.

Pasco Fire Rescue crews packed the foot on ice and the boy was air-lifted to a hospital. There is no word on his condition yet.
