Video released from Miami-Dade Father’s Day blaze

MIAMI, FL (WFLA) – Miami-Dade Fire Rescue released video shot with a GoPro helmet camera during the massive blaze which happened in the county on Father’s Day.

Several families were left with nowhere to go after the four-alarm fire tore through the apartment building early in the morning June 21, NBC Miami reported. More than 200 firefighters responded to the fire rescuing several people from balconies. Nobody was injured; two units were destroyed by the fire, and four other units had smoke damage.

The video of the fire was released Friday. It was shot inside the burning building. Miami-Dade Fire Rescue shared it on their YouTube channel.
