Caught on camera: Surfacing whale pod

A couple was celebrating their anniversary in Seward, Alaska when a group of whales decided to join them. According to CNN, Janet Flanders and her husband were out on the water this past Sunday when a group of humpback whales surfaced right near their boat. The event, caught on video, shows about a dozen whales surfacing around the same time. The couple was also quickly surrounded by sea birds. Watch the video above.
