TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) – The word is out about the $100 Days of Summer. It’s your chance to win cold hard cash from WFLA News Channel 8.

Beginning July 6, each weekday for the rest of July we’re giving away $100 each and every day, and all you have to do to win is watch News Channel 8 Today Monday-Friday between 6 a.m.- 7 a.m. for the ‘Word of the Day.’

When you see it, head over to our Facebook page  and fill out the contest form. You’re allowed to enter once every 24 hours. Once you’ve entered, you’ll be provided an opportunity to share the news that you’ve entered on Facebook and Twitter. It will provide a custom link that is specific to you. For every person that enters using your custom link, you’ll be earning bonus entries.

In addition, we’re giving everyone the chance to earn additional bonus entries into the contest. These options will only be made available to you once you’ve completed the entire entry process. Some of these are one time bonus entries while others may allow you to earn bonus entries each day of the contest.

The information we are asking you to provide to enter the contest is only used to contact and validate winners.

  • The ‘Word of the Day’ will only be provided on our morning broadcasts.
  • Please do not post the word on our Facebook feed or in any comment threads. We’ll be deleting them (and you risk being removed from contest eligibility).
  • Messaging us with the word will not count as an entry into the contest.
