NEW PORT RICHEY, Fla. (WFLA) -A New Port Richey man is accused of leaving three children alone at a park while he went swimming on Father’s Day.

Investigators with the Pasco County Sheriff’s Office say George Blowers, 28, left three young children unattended in the pavillion area of Robert K. Rees Memorial Park in New Port Richey.

The kids were left alone while Blowers and another person were in the water more than 150 yards away from shore for up to two hours. Deputies arrested Blowers and charged him with child neglect.
