An Allegiant plane made an emergency landing at St. Pete-Clearwater International Airport because of pressurization problems. The plane was en route to Pittsburgh. It originally departed at 4:08 p.m. It was scheduled to land in Pittsburgh at 6:29 p.m.

On June 8 another Allegiant plane departing the Pinellas County airport made an emergency landing. That plane turned around after the crew reported smoke in the cabin. Five people were injured during the landing.
