Riders on the Cyclone Coaster on New York’s Coney Island boardwalk had to climb down from a roller coaster that got stuck at the very top of the ride, WNBC reported.
The Cyclone suddenly stopped when the carts filled with riders were at the top. Park employees came up to tell everybody the ride was over after about five minutes. The riders had to use the steps to come down the coaster.
Nobody was hurt but some riders said it was nerve-wracking to climb down the steep stairs.
This is the second time the Cyclone got stuck. It broke down on March 29, when the coaster opened for the season.
