Preparations are underway to transform Amalie Arena into a different place for the Stanley Cup Final.

Outside in ‘Thunder Alley’ new signs are going up, replacing the players who grace the sides, with logos of the Stanley Cup Final and a ‘Go Bolts’ sign.

Stanley Cup Winners: Teams with most wins

Bill Wickett, with the Tampa Bay Lightning said it’s been a busy few days for everyone involved.

“It’s been a whirlwind I think for everybody. I know the community has really gotten caught up into it, our fans have gotten caught up into it, our employees are working 24-7. We’re having a good time,” he said.

SCHEDULE: Stanley Cup Final Lightning vs. Blackhawks

The transformation means the giant pictures of Cher, Eric Church and Usher, that grace the side of the building will come down, replaced by the so-called Lightning “Triplets”, center Tyler Johnson, left wing Ondrej Palat and right wing Nikita Kucherov.

It’s all an effort to create a winning and amazing atmosphere for people coming to the game.
