Authorities in Bradenton are now searching for two armed men who stormed a fast food restaurant overnight and took off with cash.

Manatee County deputies say the robbery happened at Wendy’s on 14th Street in Bradenton around 1 a.m. They say two masked men burst in through the back door of the restaurant pointing their guns and forced three male employees onto the ground while they took another employee into the office.

They forced that employee to open a safe and take out money. Then they took off.

Deputies only have a limited description of the men. The two men are described as black males, 6′ to 6’2″, skinny and wearing all black, with black shirts covering their faces.

Deputies spent hours combing the scene and interviewing witnesses.

No one was injured in the incident.

The store is slated to open at 10 a.m.

Anyone with information about these two men is asked to call the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office.
