(WIVB) Reports announced Friday that Tom Brady’s involvement in deflating footballs ahead of the Colts AFC Championship game will likely lead to his suspension.
Reports from the New York Daily News say NFL Commissioner and western New York native Roger Goodell will likely suspend Tom Brady for a period of time to start the 2015 season.
The New York Daily News said Goodell’s office isn’t considering whether or not to suspend, but for how long to suspend Brady.
“In conversations I’ve had with several key sources who always have a good sense of what goes on at 345 Park Avenue, there is little doubt Goodell considers Brady’s role in DeflateGate a serious violation,” the author wrote.
Earlier in the week a report surfaced which implicated both Tom Brady and two equipment managers in creating a scheme to deflate the footballs below the NFL mandated limit in order to make the balls easier to throw and catch.
