TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) – A reward of up to $3,000 is being offered for information leading to the arrest of the person who shot and killed a teenager at a Tampa birthday party on March 21st.
Investigators say Richard Newton, 14, was at an outdoor birthday party at 8105 9th Ave. when a fight broke out around 11:30 a.m. The fight escalated to gunfire and Newton was shot and killed.
