A very strange looking fish was caught this week in Seattle’s Elliott Bay.

The big sunfish was caught Tuesday night in a net by fishermen who were after salmon.

This fish is estimated to weigh between 325 to 350 pounds.

After it was caught, the fisherman took it to a local restaurant to be displayed.

Sunfish are native to tropical and temperate waters, feeding mostly on jellyfish. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
