Where to park, parade route info for Gasparilla 2016.

The Parade of Pirates will head north, starting at Bay to Bay and Bayshore. It crosses the Hillsborough River on the Platt Street Bridge, then travels up Ashley Drive to Curtis Hixon Park.

The parade route is marked in green. Bleachers (paid seating) will be located in the blue boxes. Corporate tents will be located in the pink boxes. Everywhere else, you may view the parade for free.

This map also shows the invasion route, up the Seddon Channel, and the TECO Trolley route to Ybor City.

Parking is available throughout downtown Tampa and Ybor City. Many garages and lots will offer special event parking rates.

Parking enforcement in neighborhoods near the event locations will begin Thursday afternoon. Warnings will be issued on Friday morning, and tickets will be issued Friday afternoon. After 10 p.m. Friday, cars parked illegally will be towed.

If you park in Ybor City, you can ride the TECO Line Streetcar into Downtown Tampa. An all-day pass costs $5. Service runs from 9 a.m. until 2 a.m. Sunday morning.

Bus service is also available between Ybor City and downtown Tampa. An all-day pass costs $4. You can pay as you board the bus (cash only, no change provided). Monthly passes may also be used.

You can also ride the In-Town Trolley, between the Marion Transit Center and Dick Greco Plaza. Service runs 9 a.m. until 6 p.m. A ride costs 25 cents.
